Thank you,
this was a bit of work, takes me 11 month of painting.
This is the spanish tercio Toraldo, which was recurtied in Naples in 1633 and send to Flanders in 1634. On the way they take part in the battle of Nördlingen on 5. and 6. September 1634.
The situation shown is around 10 o´clock in the morning of the 6. The soldiers preparing themselves to face the attack of the swedish yellow regiment.

The figures of the guncrew were original edited by Dr. von Droste, you can now get them from Mr. Fechner.
The cannons are original edited by Mr. Wünsch but the moulds are now owned by Mr. Fechner but not on his internet side.

Nordlingen is a fascinating town, built in the centre of an ancient meteor crater. The town walls are still complete, and virtually circular making a very interesting stroll. As well as two battles in the Thirty Years' War, the field of Blenheim is nearby. Many of the wounded were evacuated there, and many of those died and are buried there. The church in the centre of the town contains several informative plaques on the walls.
