Post by: errant49 on January 27, 2014, 10:05:50 AM
Received this morning the new Koestel figure, 45mm, engraved by D.Lelpeltier
French "Chasseurs d'Afrique" at the battle of Pablo del monte, Mexico, 1863
A fantastic issue  in a limited edition
The painting process will be in the Workbench, members section

Very nice figure indeed, if I recall correctly, it's based on a Benigni illustration so you know the uniform details will be spot on.

I would like to get a casting myself, who is Koestel, and does he sell to the USA? Does he accept paypal for payment? Any info would be appreciated!

Thanks
Barry

Hi Barry
Francois Koestel is a french collector of flats who issue very nice 45mm figures from time to time; there are a few of them in my users' gallery
I will ask him if he has some Pablo del Monte group left because it is a limited edition
If he does not take Paypal I can act as an intermadiary
I let you know
Eric
