Thanks for all the help and advice fellas.
Eric I think I have the Gottstein elephant pages. There are a few more on Ebay today, but will probably fetch a high price.
Thanks for the link Mark. I will contact them for more illustrations of their figures. The site doesn't appear to have them. (unless I'm not clever enough to find them!)
It's good to be back. Thanks!
John

Congratulations on your find, Gottstein's Elephants don't show up much any more.  You might try Gerald Nadebor for Romans as I believe they specialize in that era.

Thanks Eric,
I actually just got one from Ebay. It is quite nice, unpainted and I think it is engraved by Sixtus Maier. Now I need to find a few "attackers" Maybe some Romans? Anyone have thoughts on where I might find some of those? I am not too familiar with which editor has what figures. I'm just starting to go through the links list. Very helpful.
Thanks agin,
John

Hi Mark,
I sent an email to the address that you provided, but it bounced back, undelivered.
Also went to the web site but could not ascertain where on the site they sold figures or if they had the Greigs elefantens.
Any thoughts or advice?
Thanks again,
John

I believe you want these fellows:

http://www.zinnfigurenfreunde-leipzig.de

(They are in the links as Leipzig Flat Collectors Society)

We were told around the last Kulmbach that this group has purchased many of the Gottstein moulds so this appears to be some early results.

Contact being:

Detmar Munkelt:

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the replies and information. Sorry, I'm still not quite clear as how to order some of these Greigselefanten and from who (or is that from whom?) Could someone reply with a web site or e-mail address. Thanks, it's good to be back!

no matter if classic or not. There are very beautiful engravings.
The forms have some life stages not only accompanied Gottschtein and Krog.
The shapes are back in their home!
At the time they are geortnet and reperiert. The Association of Leipzig they Sammlerfeunde-ZFL asks to refrain from large orders.
Most of the figures are in only one form, that a man or riding in a mold. This will incur for the commissioner person (Wolfgang Friedrich) a lot of work.
The old catalog numbers will continue to have validity.

Here you will find a new Anspechparner for Gottstein characters.
Detmar Munkelt,

I hope that I have brought you hope for 2014!
