Nice painting!
The figure really looks like a pleasure to paint.
It´s interesting to see the later Blum figures with their heavy horses against the thiner and earlier Gottstein figures for the Murten Battle.

If so, the painting is remarkable in lights and shadows to give a three dimensional vision = it really looks like a ronde-bosse figurine.
Also I like very much the colours selected making this interpretation very nice and unique !!!
