Looks good how many of you attended? Is it a monthly get together or a yearly meeting. Could you send more details as i an sure others would be interested in any details you have.

@Cgris,
me meet once a month for talking, mostly about upcoming little exhibitions or "show acts" (public painting). [part of such an activity can be seen her

In the files we have 15 members for our local group, but at a meeting you will see seldom more than 5 to 7.

Three to five of us try to meet another time per month for painting together.  But this appointment I can hardly attend more than five times a year, because of other date-requirements.

This time (before Christmas) we wanted to exhibit just for us friends, what we achieved in the last two years.  The figures shown are painted and presented by six collectors.

Currently we have a rather small exhibition, dedicated to the 300ths anniversary of Prussian King Frederic 2nd (The Great) in a small museum in the vicinity of our town Magdeburg. It will last by April next year. This exhibition was shown (far bigger) in another museum in the vicinity from March to Octover 2013.   (Vicinity because in our town it is absolutely impossible to come to puclic with such a nonsense as "toys". And this for decades ......  >:(

But let's face the good news:
For the first half of next year we have new requests from little museums for contributions, concerning the "Wars of Liberation" [1813] against Napoleon or "The region under French rule" [1806-1814].
So we will check our drawers and cabinets and find something to help them ;D

Most of us collect and paint flat figures of all sizes, but four are strictly fond of round figures.

Any more quetsions I can answer ? Dont' hesitate! ;)

What a great thing you have going there, Joerg. I love that you not only exhibit together but paint together as well. Something for all of us to think about.
I think your club's work is fantiastic!
