I can't add peintings done recently as I did not paint during the last two months.

Préparation of the Scottish Piekeman goes on as explained two days ago, as follows:

 - reshaping of all my framed flats at bottom = no more front foot and sharpening of back foot
 - sharpening of the blade (I still have to finish the hook) = Mike !!
 - all edges finishing is complete too

Today I finish it and will undercoat. (sorry so slow, restart is a bit rusty!!!)

But thanks Brian, for this waking up this week!!
I will continue on the Project side and track the other participants !!

These attached figures are representing some Swedish foot regiments and their colours under the Great  Nordic War. If  you are a keen observer you may notice there are some difference between the uniforms. They are all in 30mm and engraved by G.W.Rössner.

I am just adding them on a weekly bases to keep Brian in a good mood!

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the reminder.  Here's one I did 40 years ago!!!  It's a Scheibert figure which I painted as if he was the Duke of Marlborough.  Hope you like it.

Super Christian, exactly what I was searching for !!!

Yesterday evening after Eric's reply I cut the axis and the pike to keep the center part. All was ready and cleaned for undercoating, but I did not know what to do with these two hooks !! and looked further on the net ... ready to send pctures of yesterday's work...

This morning I planned to keep the main hook only and put is straight at right angle of the blade, but my car was again not functionning, and stopped in the enter or our city here.  Put on a truck, go to the rand servicing at 85 km and diagnosis that repair might take two weeks, come back not Under 40°C but a stormy gale of water and frozen block, wet, two hors to be back home ... and nothing done of the day.

But your message came perfectly timed !!!  A lochaber axe, and with a hook as optional!!
I will work tonight and finish the reparation, send pictures and go on tomorrow !!!!
