Hello,

a beautiful figure which I also bought in Kulmbach. With your painting, I immediately notice something that should not be regarded as a criticism but as an aid.
The light guide on helmet and shield does not fit at all. In addition, I immediately noticed the neck, because they have to run again and change that.
Otherwise, the colors look very nice ... so please continue to paint.

I agree with your comment if the figure is seen isolated, but inside the diorama it takes another aspect, or I think that. In any case the shield is the weak painted part but I prefer  simplyfy it to integrate the figure with the whole background. In an individual figure the shield deserves a more detail treatement. Many  times the background takes me much more time than the figures, specially when I have to combine differents scales and planes in vertical. Always I have to learn something, but about the lighting almost verything.
The comments are always important  to progress.
