You expect a decision in Kulmbach with this Covid context around them .....

But keep in mind that the success of such a show is supported by a large public of visitors coming from all over the world, not regional.... See the situation in Europe today !!! and the progresses of the vaccination (and supply)....

Prognostic (or prophecy) today is  Yes-20:80-No,   no yet 50-50 !   figures in Germany are raising again ....

Thanks Christoph!!!
This are my information, too.

Additional:

I think the town Kulmbach including all villages around has some other problems with Corona actually, the value of new infection is very high, one of the highest value in whole Bavaria.

Waitung for a good end....

Hello,
I was told that a decesion should be made on a meeting of the Kulmbach city council on wednesday. But this meeting was canceld because many members of the council are in quarantin at the moment (this can be found on the town´s homepage).

Yes, very bad news this week:

Small tinfigure-Meeting in Berlin in April: Cancel
Meeting in Strassburg in May: Cancel

Kulmbach: No beer-festival => No beer tent => No figure-Meeting?!?!

Please, wait until the 17th of March, but I don't think the town Kulmbach and the organisation of the Plassenburg / tinnfigure-Meeting will find any other place in Kulmbach...

Convert bad news into positive ones ....

The good news is there will be a lot more paintings and works presented one year later, and less overstock in the grey armies of all of us, to create more opportunities of purchases to the vendors!!!!!!!!!

Yes indeed, keep painting one year more, Kulmbach is not the only show cancelled this year !!!

I don't expect there will be a Kulmbach fair in 2021, as our Kulmbach is, in terms of logistics, just an appendix to the beer-week (I'd prefer it vice versa). They won't erect the hall/tent just for three days. And most collectors, unfortunately, are in or near the covid-risk-group with regard to age.
As Ed I think there might be a chance for 2022, the beer-week being an annual affair.Keep painting.

The next question is whether it will be postponed until the next scheduled date in 2023, or merely put off for a year, making the even-numbered years Kulmbach years from now on.

Don’t hold out any hope, as Franz definitely said it was off.

Also the way the vaccine is going in Europe a large quantity of people in Germany are not expecting to get vaccinated till September!

If the beer fest is off, how can the council justify the borse a week later?

Just got this, there's still hope

Dear tin characters friends
As some of you have probably heard, the beer weeks in Kulmbach have been cancelled.
This news is true and very sad, but it does not mean a cancellation of the tin figures stock exchange yet, this will not be clarified until 17.03.2021 at the next city council meeting whether it can be cancelled or in another way! We ask for your understanding and a little patience until the final decision is made. We will inform you immediately about these.
Greetings and stay healthy everyone
Your Kulmbach Team
