French cuirassier trooper (I think).
(1/1)
Kulmbach:
There is no need for checking Jörg, it´s a figur engraved by Ludwig Frank. And most likely, according to the triangular base, it was once produced by Biebel. Could be that Thiel over took the mould and had his own signatur which was a T and a new numbering of the figure.

Hi Rob. Take a look at Officers and Soldiers of the Cuirassiers 1800-1815 By Histoire & Collections #14 campaign dress outer pants gray or brown with buttons on the side. This book has all 14 regiments in it Willie

Hello, all...
I just got in a lot of 30mm flats I purchased. I picked this one to start with. I was able to find a #10 Optivisor lens and I can actually see it quite well!
I am not great at identifying Napoleonic uniforms, but I think this is a cuirassier trooper based on the wool shabraque. Is my ID correct?
The base is marked "7416 C." Is this a Kieler piece? Is there any way to identify the engraver?
I will start a thread over in the workbench area once the painting commences (I need all the advice I can get).
Appreciate any help with the ID and editor/engraver info.
Rob
