I find the set below in a gallery. Maybe a set fom Western Miniatures? Have anyone a idea about the story behind this set? Looks much interesting...

Yes they are from Western miniatures I believe the Indian Mutiny series ::) Willie

They were sold with the passing of the owner of Western Miniatures. I see them EBAY Germany and I am sure someone can name the new owner, i.e. they are available.

I think Benedict of Jupiter Miniatures has them, he did buy some of Dicks moulds :)

Nope not Jupiter, I still have the moulds and figures of this set

When Dick produced his Indian Mutiny series, he also brought out a few figures from the same period, but showing life under the Raj before the mutiny. When we put together the diorama of Cawnpore, I had the tiger, beautifully painted by Jon Redley, but it didn't really fit into the scene, so it is still on my shelf.

The picnic set was announced in Journal 64. The Cawnpore diorama features in Journal 88.
