Title: Italian wars figure
Post by: Christoph on September 11, 2021, 03:18:29 AM
Hello,
here is a figure I just finished. It shows the banner of Pietro Bourbon, Marquis of Monte Santa Maria, a venician infantry commander. The colour was taken be swiss mercenaries in french pay at the battle of Agnadello.

The figure is edited Scholtz.

Beautiful painting !
Colours are intense, details sharply done and the subject is very original and well selected ..
Congratulations Christoph.

Very Nice Christoph!
This figure edited by Sholtz is in origin in the Henniges's range.
Love it, my compliments!

Thank you.

@ archigrog: I found this figure and many other now edited by Scholtz in an older catalog of Christoph Traut of Fulda. In this catalog some figures are mentioned as taken over from Hennings or Lehmann / Freiburg.  But not this figure and some other like that. Anyway these figures all drawn by Martin Block and are well engraved, a pleasure to paint. Sadly Scholtz only sell them as a set.

Beautiful work, wonderful finish--note the shadows on the banner.
