The 15th Competition at Lugdunum is over, with 199 artists and 862 figures registered (against 232 artists and over 1100 last year).
As far as flats are concerned, 25 artists for 63 pieces evaluated by two (2) judges, same level as last year.
Masters : 10 artists with 17 pièces (3 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze awards)
Confirmed: 12 artists with 37 pièces (3 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze awards)
Novices: 3 artists with 9 pièces (1 gold, 1 silver awards)
The main strength of this competition at Lyon is that all results (points assigned per judge on 20 and their average) are published for each artist, and available online on the Ludgdunum site 24 hours after the show! This means complete transparency of the judgment, and whether they have been assigned to the set presented or to one particular named piece of work, selected at the best of the set. This is unique and gives a high value to this competition.

I am collecting the pictures taken (difficult light conditions) and from various sources. I will post them in the gallery progressively during the next 10 days. Most of them were presented elsewhere, with a couple of new ones (I will give an asterisk in the title). Some pictures also on the tables of clubs présent.
One Fantastic Best of Show and one Historic BoS were attributed at the end, but to round figures this year.

Sorry Sandor, but my main interests are for flats these past three years, better to ask on a forum handling rondes-bosses.
But looking on Google, I found this to question deeper via Facebook or Google:
