Thank you.

here are the pictures close to 30mm size. So you don´t have to do it your self.
The large scale pictures are very good to learn about how other painters work.

Very nice work as usual, Christoph!

Your paint style, is very interesting for  30mm scale!

Nice work again, Christoph!
According to Michel's advice, I tried out the size-reduction of the pictures, to "normal"  30 mm vision, and the effect is very interesting.
Propose to try it to everyone, the effect/outlooks of the figures is/are quite different!

Horses are very nicely painted !!!!

What is interesting with these larges pictures is to see the details and subtile colours used.
But what is also nice is to zoom out the pictures until the size is back to 30mm for the soldier, to appreciate the effect 'at normal eyes size" …    (perhaps picture slightly too dark)

Congratulations, it is always a pleasure to see your painting, Christoph ….

Hello,
I started to paint some figures I bought at Kulmbach last year from Mr. Mineur

Showing horsemen from south Germany around 1500.
Some of them carrying lances. In battle they were used to support the more heavier armoured knight.
The other armed with crossbows. There is a report by Williebald Prickheimer who fought in the  Schwabian war in 1499. He wrote that mounted crossbowmen shoot into the ranks of the enemy footsoldiers before the lancers attack.
