Coming from a background of making paper minis http://www.rpgnow.com/browse/pub/7332/8radgames (http://www.rpgnow.com/browse/pub/7332/8radgames), kind of stumbled into this world a few weeks ago. Seems to be a good place to progress too. Was trying some sculpting and ended up making a kind of flat(see below). Was struggling to find anything on sculpting flats, literary just found out that the they are engraved lol. Anyhow not wanting to hang about could i ask if anyone could point me in the direction of acquiring the correct tools, slate etc to get stuck in =).

Good call, 2kg bag in the post =). Thinking etch the flat in the MP, then press cast a procreate or green stuff master. With the bonus of being able to modify the master before it dries, then from that make a more sturdier mould.

Greetings from Texas! Your piece (an Orc?) looks great, but a bigger pic would be helpful.
A sculpted flat... the empire grows. Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha...

Will get a better pic. It is small. The coin is a British 1 penny. Looking forward to trying more. Have loads of paper mini designs.

Looking better! Still and Orc right, but with some Aztec elements in it?

Now got a few blocks of molding power drying. How long does it take. Been drying out for 1 day and still quite damp feeling.
