I saw a report about 3D copier !
Maybe some day we will make our own copies of figures !
And a new traditional way will desappear (like blown glass !)

How they do this in reverse is beyond me. Absolutely facinating.  I have saved these 3 parts on my ipad, for further reference

Thank you for posting this. For me as a relative newcomer to this hobby, the arcane technique of slate engraving is all new and extremely fascinating.
