Dear friends,
does anyone have illustrated lists or pictures of the series "Landsknechtslager" by Johannes Frauendorf.
The figures themselves have no numbers, so I need pictures of the individual figures to be able to assign them.
The series contains about 100 figures incl. accessories etc.
Thank you all an greetings

Interesting to see the huts with the pikes and hellebards. Those huts can be seen on a woodcut of the siege of Wolfenbüttel. And Scholtz offers some huts which looks very close to these one.
Does anyone of you know if the Frauendorf set is for sale somewhere?

Hello Christoph,
i've bought part of this huge set from Dittmar (on ebay), but i don't know if he has the moulds. Somewhere in my grey army i've some other figures from set n.8, but i must check, in my memory i've about 50-55 figures totally.

The forms are archived in the Museum in Weimar. Unfortunately these molds are no longer cast which is a godsend when you purchase the figures. They are among the most beautiful figures Frauendorf has created. The German Museum in Berlin does not publish any figures either. There are other molds for the 1848 movement on hold and will probably never be cast again.
