Title: 1914 theme
Post by: Charles on November 30, 2013, 07:55:09 AM
Fitting in with the 1914 theme and all the impending WW1 centenary events, here are a few factory painted figures. Kieler at the top, I believe Heinrichsen Brits in the middle and some later German stormtroopers at the bottom, again Kieler.
I have stripped that thick old paint off some of the marching Germans, they are (SM) Maier engraved. i am painting a couple of them which i will post when finished.

I too am trying to find a project for the centenary of The Great War. Good idea!

Just for adding something to the topic:

My local collector friends are working at some figure-contribunting
to expositions in little museums here next year.

Not too much, but I guess 2 or 3 dozen figures.
