Ed is managing  the BFFS table, so maybe the ideas should be finalised for meeting at the table in the next week or so as Ed will be on his way to Kulmbach, the long way round.

We had meeting times in the past but I never go to them as to busy buying figs, badges we did that before to, mine stayed in my pocket, not one for id labels but yep sort it out and see what our secretary comes up with ;)
It's not long till we go now!!

Meeting at Kulmbach
It seems that quite a number of us will be there
Some we will know, some others not
May I suggest that :
We all ware a little homemade badge with the words BFFS-IFFS
We organise a "rendez-vous" at the table and at a well choosen hour ( no I did'nt say beer time)
What do you think ?
Eric

Hi Barry
My experience says : have a case with you
Some traders have packages but most of them have none
See you there

I'm very much looking forward to what will be my first visit to Kulmbach. Long on my list of to-do subjects, this year becomes reality!
As a newbie to this show, and considering I plan to stock up very well with flats galore, do the sellers give the figures in some sort of packaging, or should I plan to box up my spoils with boxes brought from home? I don't want to overpack, but then on the other hand, I don't want to underpack as well!
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hope to meet many of the BFFS members at Kulmbach, in a month's time!
Barry

Ive always just taken hand luggage and put my flats in what ever bag or case i take,  saves flaffing about on the baggage  arrivals area at Frankfurt and Heathrow, but also remember to take some empty boxes for all the flats you buy, but i guess travel light, could you make up a special box for transporting your flower Fairies?  that will fit in your case/bag ?  i reckon that's your best bet Nick.

I have no idea either what I'm taking or how to get them there!!!

Is it the norm to take a suitcase for the hold of the plane, or just hand luggage?

In case you have'nt picked it up anywhere else the BFFS is paying for our stand this year and I am hoping to arrange for name badges for everyone who is going so that we all,and that includes all European and US Members actually get to meet and recognise each other!!! If you are going let me know HERE and I will arrange a badge, all I need is name and country of origin. Fairyland is not a country, Nick, you have to be a grown up and bat for England!!!
