@ Marko. The figures are from Berliner Zinnfiguren (Scholtz) with the reference number 100 / 38 / 1 (68 figures). The engraver is Sixtus Maier (the Old).
@Jean-Paul. Je séjourne parfois à Hyères. Il faudra qu'on se rencontre.
@Hannibal. Many characters come from drawings after the paintings of Vanmour (catalog of the exhibition Vanmour and Levnî, Topkapi december 2003 – april 2004, ISBN 975-296-057-X) and after the drawings of le Recueil de Ferriol (you can load the pictures on the site of BNF). An other book could intrest you War and Peace, Ottoman-Polish Relations in the 15th-19th centuries, published by the Turkish ministry of culture, ISBN 975-17-2224-1. The colors of the dress seems more useful, more genuine than on the others books. Unfortunately the drawings are not numerous.
