Wow I think I see some elephants, Mignot Arabs, Joan of Arc and some Douchkine's in the background.  I guess we need to show display cases next on this thread - nice start.

Very nice though with Eric's output I expected the wall's to be lined with display cases.

It would be interesting to see our unpainted backlog layed before us like they used to do with the pictures of the jet planes and all of the ordnance they could carry spread out before them.  In my case I confess to a good collection of Historex, rounds and WWI model planes with a few model tanks thrown in to add to the flat's backlog.  I could cover a good part of the driveway...

Thank goodness for a big house and a large closet.

I started them back in April, and got halfway through the 6 elephants, then Brian hijacked me with other figures (as he does !)and they have sat in the box ever since!!!!! :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

However, I am not too impressed with what I have done, so it's Roger's Nitromor's for me ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D    well them actually, but you know what I mean. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I now have a timetable set out, and when I have completed the figures I'm doing at the moment, these will definately be next!!!!!   ( Next October if I'm lucky ---- then there's the figures from Kulmbach,!! Oh I'm drowning  in figures, I need to retire from work and Paint ! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi Nick
It is a usual desk stand for painters
I just move up the holder to have it at my eyes
I put my figures on little pieces of wood on which are put on the stand with some scratch so that I do not have to hold in hand
I do not dare to count how many unpainted figures I have; a few thousands !
And yes it is  Porus tiger hunt from Retter; a fabulous set engaved by Lecke, maybe a little heavy

there's a few unpainted sets there Eric. ;D

I love the stand on your desk, is this just to hold them or paint on?  Is it home made, you seem to have 2

Is that the Tiger hunt I see poking out behind the computer table? ;D ;D  Still got to get back onto mine

The room is at the front of the house, so all windows have these in which is quite nice.
I like to sit at the window cos I'm nosey to see what the neighbours are doing ;D ;D ;D
However, when I paint I have to close the blind as the sunlight is too strong and refects off the figure too much. The lamp has a daylight bulb in.
Once i have finished the section, I then look at the figure in day light to make sure the blending is OK and not blotchy.

Looks like youve got  more paint on the table than your figures Chris ;D ;D ;D

Very nice Nick - the Christmas lights are a festive touch as well.

With me it is listening to old Detective radio shows when I paint rather than DVD's.  (I spotted Inspector Lewis and Midsummer Mysteries.)

Here's my little hovel, ;D ;D   loads of DVDs I watch whilst painting, I also pause them for light sources etc.

Draw's full of figures, paints and general bits and bobs.
