Very good articles on the set by Panos Charalampakis in Journals 87 and 88.

Dr.Dangschat did a very nice series for the Greek War of Independence. It included personalities such as Kolokontronis and Laskarina Bouboulina. Unfortunately I do not know what the current availability is.

Thank you Roger,Victor and Joerg,
I did this as a favor to a person I did not know and it seems he only wants painted figures, tried to explain the difficulty to get painted figures in this obscure line, but thats all he's interested in.
Thank you anyway, don't mean to "cry wolf" on this...

Hi Ray,

EVERY Greek connection (i.e. Ancient), like Loy, Hafer, Kieler etc.

or just modern Greek connection (ex Dangschat, Wilken) ?

Joerg

I have the entire set. The figures are based on two paintings by Peter Hess.

I haven't got any of these myself but have often looked at them as Greece is where we go every year for our summer holiday.

I have had great success in searching for items and subjects here on the forum as I introduce new people to the world and art of the flat.
A person I spoke with of Greek nationality is interested in Greek subjects as I posted some early set pictures on these subjects.
If anyone has Greek subjects they would like to sell or know of a connection for the same please let me know and I will pass it on.

PS. Brian was most helpful in my search for the British Monarchy set and I think it worked out well for both he and the person I put him in contact with.
