Good afternoon!
I am going to work on the below figure:
I am quite helpless however about the pattern of the banner.
The armour and mainly the helmet shows the time of the First Crusade (1096-1099).
Based on the format of the banner it can be the black/white one with the cross of the Knight Templars.
However it does not fit the timing of the First Crusade, since the foundation of the Templars order is 1119.
So I would be glad to get any suggestion about the pattern of the banner.

Snagy Here are some books that might help with the flag
1. Le Costume, L Armure ET LES Arumes AU Temps De La Chevalerie By Lillian and Fred Funccken
2. The Crusades By Yli Remo Vallejo
3. Armies and Enemies of the Crusades 1096-1291 By Ian Heath
4. Armies of the Crusades By Terence Wise Men at Arms Series
5. This Book was printed 60 years ago 1958 Medieval Costume and Armour and Weapons 1350-1350 By Paul Hamlyn
The Basic color for the standard would have been white red yellow blue with a cross on it in those colors too. Hope this Helps Willie
