Title: The quarrel about the horse

In the year 1038 a byzantine army stands on sicily to fight against the arabs. Leader of the army was George Maniakes. Under his command was a lombard contingend under Arduin. A quarrel arose between Maniakes and Arduin about a horse, captured from the enemy. Arduin refused to give the horse tho Maniakes, who therefore ordered him to be beaten in public. After this Arduin, his men and other Soldiers left the army.
