Thanks to Erich I was able to find a series of figures produced by Windisch-Sachs.
They are a number of models in appropriately striking poses based on a magazine called Gazette du bon ton or Journal of Good Taste or Style which was a small fashion magazine published in France from 1912 to 1925. The magazine featured illustrations showing high couture designs using a number of the most famous art deco artists of the day. The magazine and figures are charming.
Here are the figures:

And some wonderful painted examples from Grimm that set me hunting for these figures long ago:

And some examples of the drawings from gazette du bon ton:

All in all should be great fun!

Thanks Jerry - further proof to me that these will be major fun to paint - as they are something different- and they paint up well.
Ultimately my quest for these is Graham Dixey’s fault…he had an article for that referenced these figures in August 1997 called A Passion for Fashion, set me hunting. That and Grimms nicely painted examples have been on my mind for some time. I find the set pretty darn fun.

Nice and unusual figures. Where does one get them? I can‘t find any contact data for Windisch-Sachs here or on the Klio-website.
