This is an absolutely great story all around Steve!

One tends to forget that the 'best' part of this hobby is the relationships and people one comes across - particularly given some of the 'dodgy' types we have - both through the internet/mail or in person.  We do tend to be a helpful and sharing community which are delightful traits.

Also a wonderful way to pay it forward by Jim!

Have you heard the name Marielyne Neurohr? Well, I hadn't either, that is until Jim Horan mentioned her name. She is studying painting with Jim via the internet sending photos, receiving constructive critique, and then painting more to send more photos for further critique, etc. My guess is she is an up and coming talent. An article on her and her work appears here: http://www.flattinfigures.com/marielyne-neurohr-an-upcoming-painter
Best wishes,
Steve
