Another great example of what makes flat figures so magical...at least to me.

Many years ago I clipped out a copy Jean-Antoine Watteau's painting "The Shop Sign of Gersaint" with the goal of reproducing the scene in 1/72 scale using converted Airfix figures as was a habit at the time. It sat in my files for many years and then discovered there was 20 mm rendition of the painting using flat figures...

Figures are engraved by Otto and are now available from Modelbau-Holland-Merten where I purchased them from.
Finally seeing a charming retention by the late Catherine Cesairo Poisson spurred me to finally purchase along with a Mohr set of the Leipzig fair.
