These two sets sold on German Ebay recently - 16.5 euros for the American and 17.30 euros for the British.

Greg
Kieler's English and Continental Dragoons of the AWI are still available. (see pictures below for the catalog numbers). I was told by Erika Ochel several years ago that the mold for the English Officer and Trumpeter (Ge6 a+b) was not available.

thank you gents! Interesting story Art, let me know if you come up with anything. Mark, I see what you mean on their website - if Art is not successful I guess i'll be trolling for them at Kulmbach next year! thanks again

Greg I suspect these may be the gents:
http://www.kieler-zinnfiguren.de/Listen-e/1700-e.html#1311
They list 3 figures for English Cavalry - from the Journal picture it is hard to tell as it looks like 4 different figures with a single duplicate.
The Kieler/Ocel catalog can be a bit frustrating if you cannot match to a picture and their figures range from fabulous to just ok. However, Erika Ochel was delightful to work with and I was very pleased with what I ordered - French 7 Years Artillery & Sobieski in his sleigh with retainers.
Good luck.

P.S. And I agree the recent journals have all been exceptionally first rate!

I believe the set was commissioned by Willard Snyder of Philadelphia a collector and erstwhile dealer in the 1950s. Willard is long gone but Mel Aria of the MFCA once had some. I contact him for you Greg.
Cheers

I wanted to congratulate the Journal team for a great job on the latest issue. Very interesting articles on Japan and The Raid on Pound Ridge which I really enjoyed reading. Nice job!!! Anyone know if the Kieler light dragoon set is still available?
