Hello,

Hi Gerald,
The editor is Glorious Empires.
Actually the plans are mine. Showed at the competion in Kulmbach with no respons. Glad that you noticed them. Beware that the two lower plans are changed a little to correspond to the real thing.

Jan,
Well done on these fellows, I found them as quite a stand out!

Saw these in Kulmbach and not only are they delightful but I can honestly say outstanding.
Didn't you get a medal for these Jan?
-
Thanks for your kind words!
No, I didn´t get any appriciation from the judges this time. But on the other hand I got a bronze for my French lancier bugler which I exhibit also in 2015 and then didn´t get anything. So ... who knows, give my a couple of years and I will be back with my planes. Recycle is the word!

HI Jan
Lovely work!! saw this at Kukmbach 8) no medel? oh well
better luck next time :) Great also seeing you at Kulmbach always a pleasure!!
-
Interesting how different judges see things, I was with 2 other judges from other shows and we rated them rather highly. :)
-
I don't remember seeing these, but they almost make me want to stop painting my 17th Century Frenchmen and start painting airplanes!
-
These paintings are looking quiet impressive !!! ....
perhaps judged as out of subject/category between characters and modelisms .. I faced this once in France and ws 'excluded' from judment... (zero score)

Very good work. Is the american spit V an your conversion or it is stright from box ? In any case a really good paintings.
About the judges the matter to me is old as the first show (perhaps before), but you must feel very satisfied of your work.
Cheers
