Title: A pommeled grey horse
Post by: errant49 on October 10, 2013, 08:45:23 AM

The colors used here are nearly the same as for the dark brown !
But differently melt
Basic tone : titanium white + ultramarine blue + naples yellow
Lights : pure white
Shadows  : different degrees of blue violet
A little yellow ochre and burnt sienna on the unders
Head and hair ivory black

Same basic ways as the two others wilt a major difference at the beginning
As the basic tone  is clear I do not remove color on the lights and immediatly starts coloring the unders and shadowing

Then same work on the lights and shadows until I am satisfied

Then the pommels
