General Discussion / Re: Knoll Catalog
« Last post by tinman on June 17, 2018, 11:01:41 AM »
Thanks Mark, Joerg, and Alexander. I enjoyed looking at the line drawings.

For those interested in the whereabouts of the Thiel figures, I made a small catalog of the figures that are now with Mr. E Reisberg. He has a large number of the Franz Biebel molds that Mr. Thiel bought in the 1930s.

Flat Figure Sets / Glorious Empires - Berliner Zinnfiguren - Napoleon's Staff
« Last post by marko on June 16, 2018, 12:20:51 PM »
A set produced by Glorious Empires and engraved by David Lepeltier, Napoleon's staff manages to capture the character of the individuals and as shown by Mike Taylor some of the pomp and color of the times - all in 30 mm.

It is now available from Berliner Zinnfiguren.

Mike Taylor's awesomely detailed example.  (Considering the scale beyond stunning!)

Originally produced by Dick Jenkins at Western Miniatures but, now with an Editor in Germany where I purchased them via Ebay Germany, the figures provide a for a colorful rendition of the battle including beautiful figures of Richard III and Henry Tudor, banners, archers and some artillery.  I set to take some time painting.
