Title: C.Terana Sale Catalogue
Post by: BobLeighton on September 12, 2017, 01:52:12 PM

Steven Smith has just posted on the Napoleon series discussion forum sub section Message Index a copy of the sales catalogue for the C.Terana Estate sale.
It is illustrated if anyone is interested.
Sorry I do not know how to attach the actual web site link.

Hello Gerhard
Sorry the catalogue does list the moulds and usually you can obtain from the Auctioneers details of the prices made by each lot but, of course no buyer details will be forthcoming.
Kindest regards
 Bob

He did a nice job too - some of his figures were sold on eBay not long ago. They're very nice

To my knowledge this elephant is from Heinrichsen. I took a photo of this lot and you can see the size of figures is more 28mm than 30mm.

I noticed that as well, it is quite a figure!  Another good example of what makes flats special.

P.S. With an elephant that size I think I would have been busy back at base inventorying supplies or talking up the Colonel's spouse rather than mucking about as these soldiers are...stout fellows are the Brits.

So most of the moulds were not sold.
It would be interesting what happens with the sold ones.
Or are the Terana/Boverat/Bretegnier Figures are gone forever?

Hello,

someone has the address of the heirs or seller of the forms ??
Maybe you can buy them and so they can pick up the collectors.

I have heard at Kulmbach the mould are in possession of Mr. Terana´s sister now, but I don´t have any idea about an address or contact.

The heir of the moulds is the brother of Christian Térana. He is not interested in, so it is his wife, sister-in-law, who deals. I don't know if the moulds are still being but if anyone was willing for buying these I could pass the information.
