Thank you, Marko.  PDFs of the Neckel and Maier catalogues would be wonderful.  I had the pleasure of meeting Rolf Neckel and his partner at Kulmbach this year and bought some figures from him.  His English is better than my German but we got by in spite of our limitations and using sign language too which resulted in much laughter.   Once again, thanks for your help with this matter.  Best wishes, Peter

As a fellow Jr. Senior I understand.

Neckel does not have a website but, you can order via EMAIL and Paypal at this address: Neckelzinnfiguren@aol.com

Let me know if you would like a copy of their catalog, I have it in PDF form.

He is great to deal with and I have made two large successful orders with lovely castings.  This is probably my favorite catalog of figures.

Maier is reachable via postal mail with this address on our site:

Liselotte Maier SIMA Zinnfiguren Steinstr. 8 D 91086 AURACHTAL Germany

I can again send you a PDF catalog if you need it.

Someone here may be able to provide advice or assistance ordering from Maier.  Nick Ball has purchased from her at Kulmbach for me, I have never ordered directly.

Both of these editors are here on this site:

http://www.intflatfigures.org/index.php?action=links;cat=8

They are listed as 'Other Editors', or editors with no online presence.

P.S. I have also had great success working with the assistance of some of our members, as go betweens or helping to convert money with sales as well.  Usually there is someone 'in the know' with most editors who is willing to help.

Dear All, Thanks for your help with my query about the Czobor Hussars.  I was aware of the Scheibert connection but didn't see these figures in the Katzelsdorf catalogue when I was in Kulmbach.  From the illustrations you provided the figures appear to be a mixture of Neckel and Loy as some of them appear in the Neckel catalogue and I bought those ones from Rolf Neckel in Kulmbach this year.  Therefore, if the other Hussars were produced for Loy can anyone tell me if it is still possible to obtain these figures?  Best wishes, Peter

This is confusing to me as some of these figures seem like ochel by frank, and some from neckel I think by Lecke. Are the figures mentioned below all frank engraved? Thanks guys!

Not sure of the figures you are referring to but, Scheibert are sold by Zinnfiguren Kazeldorf - there in the links under Online Engravers/Editors:

http://www.zinnfigurenwelt-katzelsdorf.at/zinn-main.php?page=shop

Some of their figures are also offered by Berliner Zinnfiguren as well.

Scheibert seem to be lovely figures in general - I have some Napoleonic cavalry and French 1870 Infantry.

Dear All, In the Gallery section under Scheibert there are five images of ten beautifully painted Austrian / Hungarian Hussars c.1700.  Does anyone know who painted them and who produced them? Best wishes, Peter
