Hey John
have the figures in front of you ankst?
They do not come out of the box.
I have educated them well in the nursery, which they
to be friendly to the strangers.
A Tip! They hate darkness and be naked because they are suited daylight ....
best regards
Wolfgang

It is my joy that the little fellow countrymen
so good coming out of tin on the historic ground in the States.
You can see it, it was a joy to paint the two figures.
But it was probably also the good quality of the figures that convinced ...... HA HA HA ;D ;D ;D

Glan excellent work. :o :o :o

If all figures were compiled (50 individual figures) then we have a very anschaulichche uniforms panel with maps and descriptions. 8)
best regards
Wolfgang

Well I've finally got around to painting my 2 flats as 4 differnt units. The final choices are for the officer; 1st US Sharpshooters and 1st Lt. Confederate Marines. The infantryman will be 79th NewYork and the Mobile Cadets.

I'll get some pictures up soon all being well.

We know that Nick..

On a more serious note I wouldn't mind a little help on two points:
1. Uniform detail
2. Oil mixes to get the right color.

As a complete beginner need a little pointing in the right direction.

And before you ask Brian they are still in the box where I put them after the BMSS show.  Hoping to get paints out in June ;)

Re uniform details; which figures have you got John?

Cheers
John

Well, here they are. Finished the artilleryman yesterday and the infantryman today. The artilleryman is finished as a munitions runner of the Washington Artillery of New Orleans, CSA. The infantryman is your basic grunt. Both took about three hours each (three hour-ish long CDs in the changer) and are painted with Reaper acrylics. I'll take them to Tulsa at the end of the month and then mail them back to Brian.

As always, Qs and Cs are welcome.
