Hello

As the drawing is after a picture, here is this as a guide for painting.
The title of the picture is The Man with a Rose / L'Homme à la Rose. It features Mahmad Niyaz, craftsman master, bazar of Tashkourgan in Afghanistan.
It was taken in April 1968 by Roland and Sabrina Michaud and it was published by Hachette in 1980 with other pictures in a book entitled The Orient in a Mirror (ISBN n° 2 85 108 335 X).
I recommend that book to all people who likes the Middle East as it contrasts nowadays pictures with old drawings.
