So what? No new steps - I am waiting to go forward!

Brian:
No, this is AG Shogun's  25th anniversary figure and a job and half to keep as it just fly's of the table at shows ;)

Nicholas Ball:
A nice start Frank.

this is a nice piece, one day I will get mine started!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I thought this was a limited edition piece!! ;)

Brian:
Shown is a samurai of the Kamakura period (1185-1333). Despite excellent equipment and elaborate armor he is in a bad situation. An enemy archer has wounded his horse while he spearheaded an attack. Our warrior fell to the ground and still lost his bow, which was the main weapon of the higher ranks in this time. Nevertheless, the rider is fighting back on their feet. He has his sword drawn to defend himself so with determination, and looking towards the onrushing enemy. Yet he is unbowed!

Available from AG Shogun and 2D when in stock ;)
The figure is called "Unbowed"

frankhenson:
Hi
Thanks for looking ....Going by the elaborate armour
The Mongol invasion of 1281 looks likely
not by any means an authority on the samurai
though have always had an interest in the period
