John. Try this  :o  Why don't you make your own  ???  Some years ago a member did this using scope made a Gurkha and a U Boat Crew . If you want to do this in 54mm you have a lot of material to choose from. Or you could make it out of Paper .sheet Brass. Wille

I thought the East Germans as available from Berliner Zinnfiguren came close to the Egyptian Army in 1973 but the headgear is different.  Agreed, Israelis and some Arab armies of the 1950s-1960s used American WW2 era personal equipment.
The French Foreign Legion is a good idea.

An interesting challenge.  Post WWII is not terribly well covered, much less this part of the world.  I have a vague memory of a single large figure representing the Arab Legion and a camel but, not much else.

You may need to convert a little there are some WWII US/British/Russian Army and 1950's Foreign Legion which might work for the 40s and 50's.  On the other hand in the 'vast' world of flats it would not be surprising if there is not something available.

Good luck!

Looking for 30mm (even 54mm) flats of Israelis and Soviet equipped Arab armies.  Any direction appreciated.  Thank you!
