Hallo Charles,

some years ago I saw a Mignot wedding coach diorama in Hannover. They´ve added the ex. Golberg (now Dangelmeier)
series "Jubelndes Volk um 1800" (cheering people). Maybe it´s a good idea to add the new Segom series:
" Les cuirassiers 1er Empire au defile".
Look at the orginal painting, too.

Best regards

Michael

Thanks again Jan. I won't worry too much about them.

No Charles, the e-Bay set is complete. The mounted Chasseurs of the Guard are not considered as a part of the set.
And further more, they aren´t any good, rather poor engravings, not much to search for.

Thanks Jan
I had another look at the catalogue, there are two pages for the Wedding Coach. I didn't realise this at first because the drawings are such a different style. So the set on EBay was incomplete despite the price!
I would love to complete the set with some of the missing cavalrymen, anybody know where to get them?

Makes me itch to call in sick and go paint!

I have started my copy of this and the coach is really a fun painting exercise.  Really a beautifully engraved set with a very clever design.

All these figures are part of the "Wedding Coach" set. You will find them in the regular Mignot catalouge. The extra riders are some of the Marshales of France. Attached is the picture from the Auktion.

The Wedding Coach set sold on Ebay.de has some extra mounted figures, which look like Hussars or Chasseurs a Cheval. For some reason they are not shown in the Mignot catalogue (at least, the copy I have) so i suspect the high price reflects the additional figures.
If anyone can shed light on them, I would be interested.

Yes, I have seen about a half dozen or so of the wedding set - they average about 80 Euros so the one today is bit high.  (I am almost done the coach in my set.)

Malmaison I have only seen one other time for sale, it appears to be somewhat more rare.

Charles got a bargain and two wonderful sets to paint!.
