Title: The Calendar
Post by: Joerg on December 12, 2012, 07:14:27 AM
@Webmaster - this ist NOT A PROBLEM
I just would be glad if anyone could enlighten me:

The calender shows for the the current week the number 51, for week of 24rd Dec. the number One.
Consequent it counts for the week to New Years Eve the number 54.

I admit - this is an approach totally new to me.

Is there (still) any official counting in the English-speaking world to start the year with Christmas?

Thanks for any answer.
Joerg

Ah yes, Well!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

As you may recall this was set up by one Mr.Brian Keywood ;D ;D   which is not really a logical name for him as if you mix up the letters you get BRAIN. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Poor Fella is a law unto himself and there must be some logic for it somewhere  ;D ;D ;D  I look forward to the answer, this could be pretty complicated ;D ;D ;D ;D  no doubt something to do with the moon going anti clockwise, whilst the sun ebbs and yearns, which causes paint tube caps to be undone vertically ;D ;D ;D
