Like many I have worked off some stress by throwing myself into painting.
I spent the weekend with part of Retter's Snow White set (the engraving on these is delightful with all of Retter's figures being superb! Still need quite a bit of work but, the huntsmen discovers Snow in her glass coffin:

I have also relaxed with a combination of Retter Snow White and some medieval civilians from Neckel - which again are generally beautifully detailed and engraved.

Finally, earlier this year I decided to celebrate my birthday with some Retter goodies ordered from Dangelmaier which arrived in an impressive package over the weekend.
These included Retter's Odysseus which includes a trireme, cyclops and sirens.
Bistulfi offers this stirring rendition:

My surprise with this was the size of the trireme which is quite beautifully produced:

An of course the Cyclops and the sirens, again quite large and beautifully cast:

Finally, for a change of pace, also from Dangelmaier, GO's set 'On the Ice' here painted by Stephanie Coudert (again the size of the beautiful engravings was a surprise):

A wealth of fun indeed! (Stay safe all!!!)

Nice work Mark even in this stage!
You should share the pics of your paintings more frequently!
The ship (trireme) is really giant - would give you work enough!!!
;D
Looking forward to see also the other figures ready!!!
