Eric, given your basic intent to paint every flat every made I figured you had painted this one at some time.  However, I don't see anything in your Galleries for this.

Ed major kudos for your definition skills in regards to this.  I will remember that and get it into conversation wherever possible for the next month... ::)

A fine distinction Ed; I agree !
Marko this set is one of the finest ever engraved; there should be a picture of it somewhere in my gallery or in the old site part

Bear in mind the fine distinction between erotic and kinky. Erotic is being gently stroked all over with a feather. Kinky is when you use the whole chicken.

One of the sets I have wanted all my life after seeing it in Ortmann's book on flat figures.  I have seen it variously described as 'fanciful', 'erotic' and 'slightly pornagraphic' all of which could fit based on ones point of view I suppose.

Set is by Wimor and engraved by Mohr.  It is still available from Modellbau Holland-Merten though this one came in from EBay Germany.

The dwarf blowing into the hookah needed a slight repair which I have noticed seems pretty common - the smoke cloud apparently falls off a lot.

I don't know if I will do justice to the sultan like Mike Taylor did in his book but, it should be a fun paint.  (A big bed, two lusty woman and long feathers - it is indeed good to be the Sultan!)
