Hi Roland, may I ask where you purchased the Mignot book and your thoughts regarding this book.

Hi,
the Mignot book is a "must have" for flat figure collectors. Nearly all Mignot sets are illustrated in wonderful colour pictures, painted by many well known figure painters. You can also find a short history of Mignot and its figures.
I bought the book at one of the last Kulmbach fairs directly from the editor Egon Krannich.
Best regards
Roland

Has the Mounted Staff deal been closed yet? In case the figures are still on the market I wish to obtain them.

Yes, the Mignot book should be essential reading. The text may be in German, but non-German speakers should be aware that a separate booklet is available with translations into English and French.

Does anybody know if the Plassenburg is releasing a commemorative Mignot set this year? If so, do we know what they will be?

Hello Andrew,
Are you still the sujet of King Cat ? If so, tribute to hil for me, please. ;)
Here is the address of the site of Plassenburg museum, with email address and phone number, nothing about the gifts shop.
