Hi Sandor,
My take is to download and print out my scenery, very inexpensive and many are customizable and you can do as many as you like. Here is a good sire to start looking if this is the kind of things your looking for.

Hi Snagy  Here are some more idea to take a look at The Terrain Tutor more for War Gamers but lots of stuff on Terrain Like one  4 Cheap & Easy tall grass you will be surprised by what you can use :o I tried going on the page on how to use printed sheets to build model railroad structures but could not :( Another Kalmabach book is Painting Back Drops By Mike Danneman . So that is about it just enough to get you into trouble.  ::) Willie

Snagy.  First of all one of the things you need is a book on Perspective Drawing I bought mine many years ago :o Second Model Rail Road Magazine printed by Kalmabach K Books here is a list of what I have
                                                     1. How to Build Dioramas by Sheperd  Pain
                                                     2. Detailing Tips and Techniques No 35
                                                     3. The Art of the Diorama By Ray Anderson he was a great friend
                                                     4. Realistic Model Railroad 3rd Edition By Dave Frary
                                                     5. A very old Military Modelling special Stan Catchpol's Modelling Workshop
What you want to do is build the back lot like MGM Fox, Universal  :o most of them are facades. Another thing is use what you have at hand :o The Local Hardware Store has a gold mine of stuff for hobby building.  Last is the miniatures page History section lots of War Game buildings great for Ideas.  I would Create my own and go on You Tube there are two webs that are really great  :o Willie

I would need medieval (15-16 c.) building-facades as for background that fit to 30 mm figures.
Are there any ready-made or kit ones availble or it is better to create them on my own, or use a photo/paintwork in properly magnified?
Thanks.
Sandor
