Dear all,

Mrs. Seydlitz-Krog wrote me recently that the new owner of the Gottstein moulds might appear to the public atl Kulmbach 2013. So the flats are hopefully available again from August.

Best regards

Alexander

Is there any news about the - by Mrs. Seydlitz-Krog forecasted - reissue of these figures?
Are they available somewhere today?

Does anyone know who this new owner of the moulds is?

It would be useful to know if all figures are available at Kulmbach or if one must order in advance to get them delivered there.

/Louis

That would be great news!  I have had the Valois kings and Louis XIV general staff on my want list, more so after seeing Eric's versions of the former.

Hi
Mr Gottstein died long ago (1951)
His moulds where bought by some collectors, among them Mr Kollbrunner
The figures have been cast and sold for yeras by Mr Paul Krog (zinnfiguren zum Ritter) untill two or three years ago when he died
I do not know where the moulds have gone
Nowadays I am afraid  the only way to find figures is on the flea market
We only can hope they reappear some day

I believe Gottstein still has a link in the links section and last I looked their site was still up.  However, Herr Gottstein passed away and they no longer are in business which is tragic as they were beautiful figures.

I have some of his Henry the VIII figures, Lydians, Egyptians and elephants all outstanding.

P.s. I forgot his business was under the name Paul Krog

In the book published of Vladimir Douchkine's work, page 49, is a set of figures called "The Kings of England." I have been told they are still available. Can anyone tell me who carries them? Thanks for whatever help you can give me. They are Gottstein figures, if that helps.
Cheers,
Steven Lloyd
