Title: Alexander Baden - General Colbert & his Red Lancers in Russia 1812
Post by: marko on January 14, 2017, 01:13:06 PM
A beautiful set of figures I purchased directly from Alexander but, available from Berliner Zinnfiguren.

Zeichnungen/Design  : Andreas Gagelmann Gravur/Engraver  : Daniel Lepeltier (http://daniel-lepeltier.perso.sfr.fr/)
Painting/Bemalung : Jörg
Hensel

I am guessing Jacques at Glorious Empires did the casting based on the metal and quality which is excellent.

And from Alexander's site a wonderfully painted example from Jorg Hensel

A very impressive set, only one point that I have never understood, excluding the Russian peasant you seem to have more riders than horses??

Perhaps that is what is being discussed with the Russian peasant?

"Monsieur, stinky peasant have you seen my horse by any chance?" or

"Monsieur, stinky peasant, you smell like my horse.  Perhaps you have seen it?"
