Concerning to the Museum of Murten the following link in Zinnsarg:

with

In this article there is written in german:  „Es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass das Schweizer Nationalmuseum für den Museumsshop eine begrenzte Anzahl Abgüsse herstellen lässt […].“

There could be the possibility, that the Swiss National Museum is going to order the production of a limited amount of castings for the museums shop...

I do love the extraordinary sharpness of the painting !!!
but indeed lacking a bit of deep shadows to be perfect in all ways !! (but I could not do the first)

This set is also by Douchkine and are the original Gottstein figures
GE issued some of the figures in higher scale (54mm I think)
I do not know if the original Gottstein set is available from the National Swiss Museum in Zurich; I am afraid not
Nice painting Barry, just a little too smooth in my opinion

Hey,

wonderful painted flats, also the composition of colours is nice and the horses.

In my opinion, these flats are original by Gottstein (moulds of Murten series now in Switzerland museum of Murten)? And the painting is comparable with the one in the Douchkine book. How is the painter, and are these flats new engraved (also in 30mm).

Very nice work.
The figure reminds me to one of the Gottstein's Burgund figures - the third one of the first row, see below.
Is it coincidental, or did the GEs take over the complete figure?

I think this 2 figure set from Glorious Empires is called "The Captive" but if not, no big deal. As with all GE flats, excellent engraving by Lepeltier and a treat to paint. Painted in oils exclusively.
