Sadly, I have discovered that the website address I included in my message to Brian doesn't appear to exist anymore; so please accept my apologies for that.  It was one I opened about three years ago containing information about Haffner figures.  However, I did download one of it's pages which I have included with this message; I hope this is helpful.  The other detail I forgot to add is that the Haffner figures are all 45mm high.

Best wishes,
Peter

Just got this about the figure from Peter plus a little extra

Sadly, I don't have much information about those three semi-rounds that I gave to you.  I think they were all British Napoleonic figures.  I was given them at least 20 years ago by a guy in Hereford who had a business painting war gaming figures to order for customers.  He employed about 5 painters in one of the converted offices in old printing works which had originally belonged to a local publishing company.  I met him when we commissioned him to create a diorama to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the siege of Hereford during the English Civil War.  We talked about war gaming figures and mentioned that I was very interested in flat figures.  When his business folded he gave me the three Napoleonic semi-rounds as well as 31 semi-round Haffner figures of the Franco-Prussian War.  See image attached from a website:

www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/showthread.php?51515-Haffner-Toy-Soldiers

Interestingly, when I started painting the French soldier standing firing I realised that his legs were completely at odds with his torso; his right leg was forward of his left leg instead of being the other way (see illustration attached).  I even tried standing the same way but it wasn't anatomically comfortable!

Anyway, if you know anyone who might be interested in the Haffner figures they can have them for the cost of postage and packing.  Below is a list of the 31 soldiers:

French Infantry

1 x Standard bearer
3 x Drummers
3 x infantry firing
4 x infantry attacking (bareheaded)
3 x wounded
1 x dead
3 x Zouaves attacking
3 x Zouaves charging

German Infantry
2 x mounted officers
1 x Standard bearer
2 x soldiers carrying artillery shells
3 x dead (bareheaded)
1 x Bavarian (crested Helmet) firing
1 x Bavarian (crested helmet) using rifle as club

This is one of the figures I got from Peter Young, not flats but a nice figure to paint, I'll let Peter tell you more about were the figure came from.
