I usually view from a desktop, and I do not see the unread posts column.  Just the new posts - which contains only one post.

I've been going to the View Most Recent Posts at the bottom of the page to scroll thru and find the ones I have not read that are not in New Posts.

If I may weigh in... I primarily use my desktop computer to view the internet. Occasionally, I will use my wife's Nook. I've found the tablets and readers often do NOT view the interweb the same way as a dedicated computer. Formatting is often different and peripheral sidebars may be absent as well. I don't think there is an internationally recognized fix for this (yet), since readers and tablets are not fully standardized.

Jus' sayin'...

It's still the same Mark. It's obviously something to do with the devices Eric and I are using. I'm sure we will cope, thank you for trying to help.

Item 1 is working fine as is Item 2, however there is not the New Posts menu on my Kindle. Not to worry though it's not a massive problem and thank you for taking the time to try and sort it out Mark.

That works tell me how this works.

This is how my screen looks - a little different from your but, close
[ Guests cannot view attachments ]

You will note I here I have marked an item 1 and item 2
[ Guests cannot view attachments ]

If you click on Unread Posts - item 2 here it should show you posts you have not read yet, i.e. new, for the Current Topic.  If you click it a second time it will show you Unread Posts from the Entire site.

You will also note an item 1 in the upper right hand corner which is a carot that looks like V.  Click on the carot and you should see it turn ^ and in the left hand corner you should see the following:

Let me know if either of these changes work.

I don't know how to do a screen print on Kindle or even if it's possible so I took a photo instead.  ;D Hopefully you can see what we mean and it is useful.

I don't have either of these devices which makes it tougher to diagnose these kinds of issues.  Can one of you send me a screen print of what you are seeing please?  I do have theory but, tough to validate without being able to see it.

cheers

I just got home yesterday and noticed this too. I have the same problem as Eric when viewing on my Kindle but on my laptop it is fine and showing both New and Unread columns.
