Thanks Willie,
I wanted to see the instructions from Segom to see how they compared with my own research, as I knew that the Segom work would be correct and not to sure on mine.
I have most of the books you mentioned  plus many more in addition photographs of many of the surviving uniforms from Polish / French museums and from the Kranzsky collection currently residing at the Polish Institute in London, well worth a visit.
I think that you will find that the books that you mention as being out of print are in fact being published in a slight different format by Editions Heimdal, they are also appearing in a magazine called Soldat some six being published at the moment on the Imperial Guard.

Ok just a few books on the subject and uniforms :o First is Officers and Soldiers of The French Imperial Guard #3 Cavalry 1804-1815 #4 The French Imperial Guard Cavalry 1804-1815. Number 3 starts with the Polish Lancers. These two are from a Series that was printed by Histoire & Collections. It was numbered from 1-27. There are paper back. 8) Sadly they have stopped printing them and have gone to another publisher and it is now Hard Back and much more :( The Funcken series volume 2  page 43-45 .Then there is the Osprey Men at Arms series. There is a lot more out there but this might not brake the bank :o I hope this well help you Bob  8) Willie

Please can anyone identify the three foot figures in this picture are they still available and, more importantly give details of the editor?
Second request has anyone a copy of the painting instructions for the Segom set on the 1st Polish Lancers in Parade dress.
Many Thanks
