try finding website krigsspil.dk really  useful website, also try flags and banners of the hundred years war in google or Bing should bring up information.

Also if you Google Jorg Hensel and look at the images he has done a number of first class examples of these sets - not to mention his work is wonderful to look at...

P.S.  One easy stop is Berliner Zinnfiguren which sells these figures and shows a painted version of each set.

I am sending a group of French knight out for a commission and was hoping some of you might have painted some of these great castings by Wolfgang Friedrich to give me some color guidance? Recommend some historical color reference sources?
