EUROMA 2020 in Roma
« Reply #1 on: September 07, 2020, 01:21:53 PM »

The Euroma 2020 exhibition was held in Rome on September 5th and 6th in Rome as announced, and maintained, under the organization of the Alfa Model Club, with tenacity, patience and the Covid-19 health constraints

We must warmly thank the organizers of the Club, for the holding of this competition and exhibition, until the reservation of hotels, the holding of meals, especially the one on Saturday evening, the exhibitors, the jury, and the rewards at the end of the event.

For th flats, the results are as follows, with this year a new category dedicated to  the flats, for the first time:
Some numbers:

- Two levels: P1 (= Standards) and P2 (Masters)
- 11 painters have registered (4 in P1 and 9 in P2), all Italians, from 7 clubs, except one Hungarian and one Mexican (JM Bolio).
- 31 dishes were exhibited (12 in P1 and 19 in P2)
- 12 medals awarded (3 bronze and 1 gold in P1; 3 bronze, 3 silver and 2 gold in P2)

If the number may seem moderate compared to the French competitions, it is important because a first in Rome, and the Covis-19 has prevented many non-Italians from traveling. No doubt he will be a hit next year.

I am busy classifying and preparing the photos of ALL the dishes and tables devoted to the contest this week and all will be visible in the Shows Gallery here at the end of the week (60-70 pict.). I warmly thank Claudio de Angelis for taking the photos and collecting the competition data.

Let us hope it is a restart of our activities ..... we are all missing them, I believe !!!!!!!
